OIML Weights & Weights Sets OIML Weights & Weights Sets - Our Precision Weights conform to the standard of the Organization International de Metrologie Legale (OIML)
International Recommendation R111-1 Edition 2004(E).
Weights are required for used in all the research & development, industries, commerce, laboratories, pharmaceuticals and every standard business, official bodies are required these high precision classified weights and weights sets to fulfill their Quality Standards such as ISO 9001:2015, GLP - Good Laboratory Practice, GMP - Good Manufacturing Practice. They are manufactured of Austenitic Stainless Steel with low magnetic permeability and high resistance to corrosion. All surfaces are polished to a perfect, mirror like finish.
Our precision weights are available in Classes E1, E2, F1 and F2. Weights specifications are designed so the specification on all surfaces finish, marking, construction, material density and magnetic properties get more restrictive as the weight tolerances get smaller in order to enable the weight to maintain its tolerances over time. The tolerances for the various classes are established in a manner that enables weights of higher classes to calibrate weights of the next lowest class. Example: Class E2 weights can be used to calibrate class F1 weights.
To get the proper accuracy from your weighing balances provides, you need to perform routine Calibration & Adjustments using the Precision Calibration Weights. Always use the Standard Weights one class ahead than the readability of the weighing balance by that you will get the proper results of your balance. An example that an electronic balance used by a jeweler which gives the result of Accuracy Class M1 then the accuracy of that balance is to be verified by the weights of Accuracy Class F2 weights.
OIML R 111-1:2004 - This international document describes the physical characteristics and metrological requirements of weights that are used for the verification of weighing instruments, for the verification of weights of a lower class of accuracy and with weighing instruments. This document includes a recommendation for seven classes from E1, E2, F1, F2, M1, M2, M3 of weights in tiers of uncertainty. Please see the Table of Tolerances Chart on the tolerances of each weight of a given OIML Class.
Class E1 - Used as primary reference standard for calibrating other reference standard and weights where the stability of the environment and careful handling are assured. Although very stable, one-piece construction Class E1 weights have no method of adjustment and are not suitable for general laboratory use.
Class E2 - Used as reference standard for calibrating other weights and is appropriate for calibrating high precision analytical balances with readability as low as 0.1 mg to 0.01 mg. Class E2 weights can also be used to calibrate Class F1 weights.
Class F1 - Used for calibrating high precision top loading balances with a readability as low as 0.01 g to 0.001 g. Class F1 weights can also be used to calibrate Class F2 weights.
Class F2 - Used for calibrating semi analytical balances and for student use. Class F2 weights can also be used to calibrate weighing instruments for important commercial transaction like gold and precious stones. Class F2 weights can also be used to calibrate Class M1 weights.
Class M1, M2, M3 - Economical weights for general laboratory, industrial, commercial, technical and educational use.
As specified in OIML R-111, Weightronics Precision Weights are available in one or two-piece construction.

WMCL - Weightronics Mass Calibration Laboratory is an independent mass calibration laboratory. WMCL have the capabilities of providing mass calibrations from 1 mg to 1000 kg. Our
philosophy is to provide the highest level of quality calibration by pursuing every measurement detail in order to achieve the most accurate and repeatable calibration in the
industry. Starting with a stable and tightly controlled environment, followed by using the finest equipment available, with highly trained personnel executing proven procedures,
we produce a precise measurement. Our goal is to provide our customers with the lowest measurement uncertainties achievable.
Weightronics Mass Calibration Laboratory was constructed to meet the strict environmental guidelines. In order to maintain the strictly controlled environment, the Mass Calibration Laboratory were designed and constructed within a building. The climate in the Mass Calibration Laboratory is strictly monitored and controlled having its own systems. Temperature & Relative Humidity in the laboratory is measured and maintained as below:
Barometric pressure resolution is 1 mbar.
Although the temperature and humidity are tightly measured and controlled, the design of the air handling system allows for minimal air velocity, so air currents are kept to a minimum.
Our Mass Comparators used in Weightronics Mass Calibration Laboratory are state-of-the-art with the highest precision possible. WMCL can measure as precisely as 0.0001 mg as we are having the 5 mass comparators ranging from: 6.1 g x 0.1 ug, 211 g x 1 ug, 2300 g x 0.1 mg, 10100 g x 1 mg, 64.1 kg x 5 mg. All comparator rests on anti vibration pads on a marble table which also rests on the anti vibration pads to reduce effects from vibration. All comparators are interfaced to a host computer outside the laboratory for processing calibration data. Our customized software programs ensure the accuracy of the data collection and calculation process. WMCL engineers and calibrators take more precautions to ensure that these high accuracy instruments will work to their maximum level of Accuracy.
Weightronics Mass Calibration Laboratory traceability back to nationally recognized standards is guaranteed. Direct traceability to NPL - National Physical Laboratory, INDIA is achieved and maintained through the use of several standards that are not only returned to NPL on a regular schedule, but also are intercom pared in our laboratories to monitor their stability.
World-class metrology facilities and state-of-the-art calibration equipments are only as good as the people who manage the measurement process. WMCL has the staff of certified engineers and NPL trained calibrators who adhere to strictly established metrology practices in order to provide low statistical uncertainties second only to NPL. WMCL procedures utilize multiple standards during a calibration to assure accuracy of the process and to validate the standards. If a measurement does not pass statistical tests calculated during each calibration, then the measurements are repeated and investigation is initiated to find the root cause of the failure.
We shall recalibrate and certify virtually any size or type of weights from 1 mg to 1 000 kg from any manufacturer.
We offers recalibration service along with calibration certificates for all weights ranging from 1 mg to 1000 kg, regardless to their accuracy class from E1, E2, F1, F2, M1, M2, M3 weights.
Recalibration of weights depending upon that how frequently weights are used, they must be recalibrated on a regular basis so that they meet the requirements for reliable measuring, inspection and test equipments.
In addition to adjustment and recalibration, our refinishing services can return your used weights to like new condition with precise polishing and refinishing. This will extend the life of your weights and weights sets and helps to avoid costly replacements. Weights cases can be restored and replaced also.
WMCL focus is to achieve the highest levels of accreditations for weights, mass standards and calibration services. Accreditations assure our customers that WMCL meets and maintains the most rigorous testing and manufacturing standards. Since 2008, WMCL is an Accredited Calibration Laboratory. The combination of a highly trained staff, controlled physical conditions and precise equipment enable Weightronics Mass Calibration Laboratories to produce mass metrology with very small uncertainties.
